The 65401 is designed to thread on to the exterior profile of industry standard 2.0” inner diameter crush proof vacuum hoses with a female slip end measuring 1.5” on the inner diameter. The 65401 allows a 2.0” commercial vacuum hose to be use with vacuums and accessories with 1.50” connecting points. The 65401 is molded using 85-90 shore PVC permitting the threads engaging the hose a degree of flexibility accommodating minor variations in the pitch and spacing of the hose corrugations. The 65401 is designed for the left hand thread pattern typical of spiral wound crush proof hoses and easily engages the hose holding secure against stripping from the hose. The 1.50” female slip end measures 2” in length and as the diameter is smaller than the hose diameter permits a smooth transition for the air flow. The 65401 is Best used at the working end of the hose and is not recommended as a transition point into the vacuum to reduce the risk of clogging or reducing vacuum performance.
